11.11.11 brings the release of Moonlight Never Shined So Bright by Christine Hoberg.
To celebrate, she asked me to help create a video for Sometimes, I had the privilege of being the editor and sometimes cameraman.
Free iPod friendly video here.
Here’s a few select tracks from Christine Hoberg’s set at Rockwood Music Hall last night. She brought two brand new gems, one Diamonds and Lines and the other Devil With Lipstick, had never been played live before Rockwood.

Christine Hoberg captivated the audience at Rockwood Music Hall with the voice that can cut through the bullshit of New York City. I heart her so much. She laughs at all my jokes.
Here are a few tracks, MP3 Downloads from Saturday night in the Lower East Side.

Saturday, Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn hosted an event for Go Folk Yourself.
Before running off to Joe Pug at Mercury Lounge, I watched the always amazing Christine Hoberg open up the night, followed by Free Advice.
Both acts, a refreshing change from the norm. Hoberg offering her sultry ways to a sausage fest that could use a pretty girl in a dress on stage.
Free Advice keep it real, gathering around an old timey feeling microphone with their acoustic instruments. They make you feel like it’s 1920 again. Pete’s is a great spot for intimate music, probably the best “awkward hallway room” for music that Brooklyn has to offer.
Here is Oh Precious Burning [5.7MB] by Free Advice, with a great intro as to the songs origins. Put me on the Shelf [4.1MB]Christine Hoberg offers a stripped down version of Home. [4MB] It will be interesting to compare her performance to this upcoming Monday’s version where she will be joined by her full band at Rockwood Music Hall. [Rockwood Version Here]
Christine Hoberg perfoms at the intimate Roots Cafe in Brooklyn.
